A Brief Company History of The Artwin Group
Our story began in 1969, when Kwik Kopy Pasadena opened as the company’s fifteenth franchise location. In 1992, Marilyn Wilkins purchased the business with her parents, Arthur and Winifred Schramm.
After 25 years as franchise owners, the family launched Artwin Graphics - named in honor of Arthur and Winifred. Today, Marilyn serves as president, alongside her son, Craig Wilkins as vice president and sales manager.
The company continued to grow in 2019 with the acquisitions of ADS Custom Signs and Speedy’s Printing. These established businesses expanded our capabilities to include custom signs, awnings and large-format graphics while extending our reach from Pasadena and Greater Houston to Galveston and the surrounding counties.
Together, Artwin Graphics, ADS Custom Signs and Speedy’s Printing bring decades of experience under one family-owned company: The Artwin Group.

Speedy’s Printing first came on the scene in 1963 when founders Sophie & Isaac D. (Speedy) Kaplan opened this family-owned business in Galveston, Texas. Since then, Speedy’s Printing has provided high-volume, quality printing. The Kaplan family retired in 2019. Speedy’s Printing was acquired by Marilyn Wilkins with Artwin Graphics. Speedy’s Printing is now a part of The Artwin Group providing more services and with more capabilities than ever.
